How to solve:
Problem:     2⁄13 + 1⁄5
1. Multiply the two denominators to find a common denominator:     13*5 = 65
2. Convert the first fraction to a fraction having the common denominator:     2⁄13 = 2⁄13 * 5⁄5 = 10⁄65
3. Convert the second fraction to a fraction having the common denominator:     1⁄5 = 1⁄5 * 13⁄13 = 13⁄65
4. Add:     10⁄65 + 13⁄65 = 23⁄65.
